THE MOSELLE VALLEY

Exploring the vineyards and wineries of the Moselle Valley is an ideal way to get a taste of Germen culture and people - and, of course, the wonderful wines. Take the time to slow down and some sipping.

The Moselle is also bursting at the seams with historical sites and picturesque towns built along the river below steep rocky cliffs planted with vineyards (they say locals are born with one leg shorter than the other so that they can easily work the vines).  It's one of the country's most romantically scenic regions.  Though the entire route is packed with visitors from June to October, getting off the beaten path is always easy.

單看這一段還好,至少你知道重點是「most romantically scenic regions」,但讀下去,這邊廂是「not to be missed.... beautiful」,那邊廂又是「pretty picture-postcard」.....
