很多很多很多年前學了法文，記憶就只有打招呼的幾句，當然沒有資格教。但正正因為不懂法文，就知道有哪幾個生字不得不知。說到底，在法國有不少指示就只有法文，沒有法英對照的。

就好像相片中這一個，就是我來到法國後無師自通學會第一個生字。

sortie = exit

voie = platform, track

billet/billetterie = ticket

accueil = information/enquiry

在火車/地鐵還會看到的法文有：-

annuler = cancel (自動售票機裡會看到)

arrivee(s) = arrival(s)  (這個很容易猜到吧？)

correspondance = transfers, connection

depart(s) = departure(s) (這個也很容易猜到吧？)

entree= entrance (這個也很容易猜到吧？)

gare = station

gare routiere = bus station

passage interdit = no entry

retard = delay

日常生活要懂這兩個；-

poussez = push

tirez = pull

餐牌，別以為一定有英文餐牌/英文注釋

amande = almond

anchois = anchovies (相信我，千萬不要點。詳見 6 月19 日尼斯篇)

asperge = asparagus

beurre = butter

biere = beer

boeuf (o 和 e 其實是連在一起的)= beef

bouillabaisse 馬賽魚湯 (這個非常難忘。詳見 6 月 24 日馬賽篇)

calamar = squid

canard = duck

citron = lemon

entrecote = rib steak

entree = starter

foie gras = goose or duck liver preserve

frites = chips

fromage = cheese

glace = ice-cream

homard = lobster

moules = mussels

poisson = fish

porc = pork (但在法國好像不大吃到豬肉)

poulet roti = roast chicken

saumon = salmon

the (其實在e 上面有一個符號的) = tea

veau = veal

vin = wine

yaourt = yoghurt

* 有些如 salade 大概也猜到是salad 就沒有在特別說明

當然不是全部也無師自通，多得出發前朋友借我這個；-

如果不懂法文的話，不用特別買。把這篇列印出來一紙旁身，應該也可法國通行了。
